Overview
Bilibili Comment Lens ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that analyzes comments on Bilibili (bilibili.com) videos. We are committed to protecting your privacy and only collecting the minimum data required to operate the extension.
Data We Collect
- Bilibili UID — read from the browser cookie to identify the user and track daily usage quota.
- Bilibili username — read from the page's local state and displayed in the extension popup only.
- Video information — BV ID, title, uploader name, and duration of the current video, used for analysis records for AI.
- Comment text — only when you click the "AI Analyze" button.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Passwords, payment information, or Bilibili tokens
- Browsing history outside of Bilibili
- Any data without your active interaction
How We Use Data
Collected data is used solely to provide AI comment analysis, enforce daily usage limits, and associate analysis records with videos. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Data Storage
A local cache (username, quota info) is stored in chrome.storage.local on your device only and is cleared when you uninstall the extension.
Third-Party Services
Comment text is forwarded through our server to an AI language model service for analysis. No personally identifiable information is shared with the AI provider.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of all data associated with your UID by contacting us. Simply uninstalling the extension removes all local data immediately.
